According to a reliable tradition, Francesco Petrarca was born in Arezzo, at Borgo dell’Orto 28. Today the house is the seat of the prestigious Petrarca’s Academy of Letters, Arts and Sciences, with a rich library, with precious antique and incunabula editions.
